Timbercraft Oak Parquet Flooring, Prime, Unfinished, 70x22x350 Mm
Installation
Solid wood flooring requires a tight bond to the subfloor to limit any seasonal movement and therefore is laid with glue-down installation in the case of plywood, chipboard and concrete subfloors, or nail-down (secret nailing) in the case of plywood or floorboards. Damp proofing course is highly recommended for concrete / screeded subfloors.
With our experienced, local floor fitters, your hardwood floors are in safe hands - regardless, if what method of installation they require.
Untreated Timber for Custom Finish
This engineered flooring comes planed, sanded and untreated and allows finishing on site after installation with or without stain colour, and protective coats of hardwax-oil or lacquer in preferred sheen.
Floor Installation Service
Majority of solid wood planks are 20 mm or 18 mm thick, which provide excellent solidness and flooring stability even if laid as suspended floors onto batten or timber joists. They can be secret-nailed or glued-down and usually available with extended life span guarantee. Solid wood flooring is not compatible with underfloor heating.
Our hardwood floor installation service starts with an obligation-free site visit, when you will receive advice for subfloors preparation as well.
Prime Grade Selection
This flooring product is available in Prime grade - a selection of the timber, which allows knotts in very small amounts and sizes, with almost no colour variation between the planks. Prime grade flooring provides uniform appearance suitable for both modern and traditional tastes and lines.
